What Is CS2 Case Opening?
CS2 case opening lets players unlock virtual cases for a chance at randomized weapon skins, gloves, and knives — from common Mil-Spec finishes all the way up to rare Covert drops and Rare Special items. Caseify.gg brings that experience online: pick a case, spend coins to open it, and see what you land on. Cases are grouped into Hot Skins, User Cases built by the community, and time-limited Event Cases.
How Do Drop Odds Work?
Every skin in every case has a published percentage chance to drop, visible before you open. By default, cases follow the same five-tier rarity spread Valve uses in CS2 itself (Mil-Spec, Restricted, Classified, Covert, and Rare Special for knives and gloves). Every roll is also provably fair — verifiable by you, independently, after the fact.
Events and Sparks
Limited-time events bundle select cases together: every case you open while an event is live earns you points — Sparks by default, though the name can change per event — which climb a live leaderboard. It's a way to reward players who open Event Cases specifically, on top of whatever skin they land on.
